Audi Q3 - production has started in Spain
The Audi Q3 is the latest niche-filler from Audi, another soft-roader to mop up the seemingly endless queue of buyers wanting something high-riding and rufty-tufty. Which is why Audi has high expectations of its new Q3, with the SEAT plant in Martorell, Spain gearing up to churn out as many as 100,000 Q3s a year.
In another embarrassing failure to understand what they're supposed to be regulating, the NHTSA has announced that they are investigating a “coolant leak” in Porsche 911s that were built with the GT1 engine block between 2001 and 2007. Maybe when they said coolant, they were talking about the oil that circulates in a 911 to keep the engine cool? Next thing you know, they'll be checking out fuel pumps on the Tesla Model S!
Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster Confirmed
Aston Martin boss Ulrich Bez has reportedly confirmed that Aston Martin will launch a Roadster version of the V12 Vantage at Geneva 2012. When Aston Martin launched the V12 Vantage – all the fun of the V8 Vantage but with proper V12 goodness – AM declared it a limited edition model. But as we reported back in May 2012, the V12 Vantage became a proper production model.
